ARTIST’S STATEMENT:

My work centers on portraiture as a means of exploring the complexity and dignity of the human experience. Through oil on canvas, I seek to move beyond surface likeness and capture the subtle interplay of light, texture, and emotion that reveals the subject’s inner world.

Each Portrait is the result of careful observation and a deliberate, unhurried process, allowing time for the painting to evolve and for the subject’s presence to emerge. My goal is to create images that invite viewers to pause, reflect and connect - artworks that feel both intimate and universal.

I am drawn to the quiet moments and unguarded expressions that speak to our shared humanity. Whether working on a private commission or personal projects, I approach each painting with a commitment to authenticity and a respect for the stories that shape us.
