To commission a portrait, simply fill out the enquiry form on my website or contact me directly. We’ll discuss your ideas, subject, and preferred style before confirming your booking with a 50% deposit.

What is the process for ordering an original oil painting?

The process includes an initial consultation, proposal, deposit, creation of the painting with progress updates, and final delivery. You’ll be kept informed at every stage.

What are your starting prices for family and executive portraits?

Family and couple portraits start from AU$2,400. Executive portraits start from AU$6,000. Custom sizes and group portraits are individually quoted.

Do you offer free shipping in Australia?

Yes! Free shipping is included for all original oil paintings and limited edition prints Australia-wide.

How long does a portrait commission take?

Most commissions take 4–8 weeks from booking to delivery, depending on size and complexity. I’ll provide a timeline estimate during our initial consultation.

Where is your studio located?

My studio is based in Quinns Rocks, northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. I serve clients locally and interstate.

Can I order a portrait from interstate?

Absolutely. I can work from high-quality reference photos and ship finished artworks securely anywhere in Australia.

Why do hand-painted portraits cost more than photographs?

I paint two limited collections each year—20 to 25 original works per collection. Each piece is created with intention, exhibited once, then offered exclusively to my collectors list before any public release.

Simply put, it is an online store on my website, where I host a sale of a specific collection for a limited time.
This evolved out out of painting a lot but not wanting to constantly have to look at and update my website throughout the year. So I prefer to do it in batches.
I usually make them available for a week, however many pieces are snatched within minutes of opening. I can’t guarantee what will happen in future studio sales
I’ll try to keep upcoming sales noted at the top of this page, but the best way to not miss the next one is to sign up to the collectors newsletter. You’ll get a confirmation email upon signup, which will confirm you are added.
Generally, no. I tend to offer my paintings unframed. It would be a massive logistical hurdle to offer a frame with each painting. Also, I am partial to the idea that a frame can connect a painting to it’s room, so it’s best to leave the framing to the new owner!
Most of my sales have around 20 - 25 paintings, and represent several months of work focusing on a common theme.
In recent years the A4 and A3 format has become a standard size for me when painting smaller pieces. However depending on the sale, I do sometimes offer larger work.
Payments can be made with all major credit cards
Generally the studio sale is first to complete the purchase gets the sale. Smaller pieces are priced accordingly. If there are larger pieces someone would like to acquire outside of a studio sale, please get in touch!
